Hi! my name is Trena Willoughby.
I suppose you're wondering why this site is called Talking Hands.
I am part Cherokee (as is my husband) and it represents the
fact that I use American Sign Language For The Deaf.
I have a deaf brother and hope to work with
hearing impaired children in the future.
I am currently a Pre-School and Kindergarten teacher
and am working on a Bachelor Degree in elementary education.
On my site you will find links that pertain to both
sign language and the Cherokee culture.
I'll also have some links for teachers and some fun places for kids.
And finally I'll stick in some of my favorites about other things.
I hope you enjoy it, and please come back to see me often.
